Sue Etta Hager Davis, 74, devoted wife of 55 years to John “Johnnie” Davis, left her earthly home Monday, Feb. 27. Sue Etta was the daughter of the late Felix “Jack” and Margie True Hager. She was a member of Mt. Beulah Church, a retired employee of McKechnie, and was well known for her love of antiques. In addition to her husband she is survived by a sister Garnetta Underwood, husband Paul, niece Jackie Dale Lange, and nephews Wally and Timothy Underwood. She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Nolan Hager. A Remembrance Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 3, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. David Bardin and Dr. Lowell Langefeld officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lancaster Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Billy Fount House, Randy East, Wally Underwood, Tim Underwood, Robert Powell. and Eddie Kegley. Honorary bearers will be Tom East, Rock East, Sid East, Elwood East, Bobby Powell, Charles Preston, and Nookie Stotts.
