Susan Ann (Parks) Williams

Susan Ann Williams, loving widow of Joseph Herman Williams since 2020, joined him in eternal rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.  Susan was born on February 9, 1942 in Lexington, KY to the late James Richard and Agatha English Parks.  Susan worked as a secretary at the University of Kentucky.  In her spare time, she enjoyed working on crossword and word-search puzzles and following UK sports.  She had fun traveling to away games to watch the Wildcats play.  Susan leaves a lifetime of precious memories with her daughter Kimberly Ann Sigmon, husband Edward; grandchildren Natasha Sigmon and Zachariah Sigmon, wife Erika; great-grandchildren Kingsten, Ella, Heidi, and Knox Sigmon and Parker Humphrey; and two sisters Debbie Kelly and Sheligh Wells.  In addition to her parents and her devoted husband of 44 years, Susan was preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Jane Cassity.  Cremation was chosen, and no services are planned at this time.  “There are not enough words to describe just how important a mother is and what a powerful influence she continues to be.” Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust placed in us to care for Susan and her family.
