Thomas Grant Greene, 80, originally from Winston Salem, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025 in Lexington, KY. He was born on June 22, 1944 to Thomas Paul Greene and Mary Ruth Penley Greene. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, brother Spencer Greene, and sister Virginia Crater. He leaves behind his two loving daughters Delores Southern and Chasity Stevens (Wesley), 5 grandchildren, Brandie Butner, Daniel Hamilton, Starr Hamilton, Summer Baker and Oliver Stevens. He is also survived by a sister Betty Doyle, brother Robert Greene, 9 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Grant’s greatest loves were his family, friends, NASCAR, and George Jones. He had a wonderful sense of humor, giving heart, and brought a smile to all who knew him.
