Thomas Owen Miller

Thomas Owen Miller, 84, husband of Mary Anne Miller for 60 years, passed away from respiratory failure Nov. 1, 2021. He was the son of the late Owen and Alma Miller of Louisville, and brother of Donald Miller of Lexington. He graduated from Georgetown College in 1961 and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1963. He was pastor of Long Ridge Baptist Church (1964-1970), Nicholasville Baptist Church (1970-1988) and started Brookside Baptist Church in Nicholasville where he was pastor for two years. He also worked at the state employment office in Lexington. At Louisville Manual High School he was the starting third baseman for the baseball team that won a state title in 1955. In addition to his wife and brother, he is survived by his sons Mark (Patti), Tim (Kirstin) and Jonathan (Cheryl) and seven grandchildren.
