Timothy Himes, Sr. 62, a well known brick mason in Central Kentucky left his earthly home on Thursday, Nov. 23, while a patient of Baptist Health. He was a resident of Winchester, KY but was born in Lexington, KY on Nov. 30, 1955, to the late Johnny and Jewell Peel Himes. He was a hard working man who loved to build. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Blakley Himes, children Timothy “Joe” Himes, Jr., Troy Fish, Tina Houp, Tarina Rutherford, Shannon Hurt, Kevin Fish, Alexis Himes, Amanda Himes, and Lauren “Nikki” Hall, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as his brothers and sisters Jerry Wayne Peel, Ann Miller, Bonita Hutchinson, Jeffery Miller, Duayne Himes, Johnny Himes, and Brian McQueen, and a special friend, Anna Pope. He was preceded in death by a brother Clayton Himes. His family will greet friends starting at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Cremation will follow on Wednesday and his ashes will be buried in the family cemetery at a date to be determined. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to serve Timothy’s family.
