Vedis Hager Reynolds

Vedis E. Reynolds, 80, of Nicholasville, passed away Friday, July 1, at Royal Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness. A native of Jessamine County she was born Sept. 22, 1930, to the late Eldon and Marrietta Wiley Hager. Being a second generation hairdresser,

she retired from Jessamine Hair Style Center having owned and operated the salon for over 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn S. Reynolds Welch, granddaughter and her husband Kelly and Rad Combs, great grandchildren Alex and Bailey Combs, nieces Georgia Lunsford, Doris Kenny and Janie Cecil along with extended family members and a special friend Anna.

The family has chosen cremation and will honor her with a Life Tribute Service on Friday, July 8, at 6:00 PM at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
