Vivian Lewis, 74, widow of Harold Lewis since 2001, left her earthly home on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Hospice Care Center in St. Joseph Hospital.  She was a native of Harlan County, born Sept. 2, 1944, to the late Arnold and Alberta Day.  Vivian loved lively music and played her favorite songs frequently, which could be heard throughout the house. Having a love for music, she enjoyed playing the piano, playing her favorite game Bingo, spending time with her family, and cooking large meals.  Vivian attended Light House Baptist Church until her health prevented her attendance. She leaves her legacy with children Debi Lewis, Michael W. Lewis, wife Maria, and Timothy A. Lewis, wife Michelle, grandchildren Zack Johnson, Blake  Johnson, wife Melinda, Trent Johnson, Holly Lewis, Michael Anthony Lewis, Mariah Lewis, Kayla Lewis, Dylan Lewis, and Lexie Lewis, as well as 5 great grandchildren and another one arriving soon.  She will be missed by her beloved doggies Sugar, Maggie, and Rambo.  She will be honored  by her family with a Remembrance Service at 1:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 27, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Brother Casey McClure officiating and will be laid to rest beside her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery following the Service.  Honoring her as pallbearers will be her grandsons Zack, Blake, Trent, Anthony, Dylan, and family friend Zachary Mays.  The family will greet friends on Friday, Oct. 26, starting at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM.  “Your Mother has left her legacy to you in the traditions she has taught you, the love she shared, and the life she lived.”  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to serve Vivian’s family.
