Wanda Barnett

Wanda Barnett, 63, widow of Willie Barnett, Jr. since 2015 joined him in eternal rest on Tuesday, Nov.  28.  Wanda was a native of Loveland, Ohio born April 17, 1954, to the late Gerald  And Barbara Patterso Simmons.  She was a homemaker who loved to sew, volunteering for Head Start and playing with her pooches Lucy, Easy, Eleanor, and Fergie.  Two of her beloved animals are waiting for her across the rainbow  her dog Roscoe and her cat Tiger.  She leaves her precious memories with children Johnny Barnett, Ronnie Barnett, wife Beth, and Billy Barnett, wife Kristie, grandchildren Annie Miller, Tyler Barnett, Ashley, Paul, and George Goldey, and great grandson Christopher Fight.  She will be missed by brothers Buddy and Ricky Simmons and sisters Janey McRoberts and Cris Miracle.  She was preceded in death by a brother Randy Simmons and sister Judy Goad.  The family wants to thank all who have helped them during this trying time.  They will receive friends on Tuesday starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in the Elkins Cemetery, Clay City, KY with a Graveside Service to be held at 1:30 PM. Hager & Cundiff Funeral home is proud to be chosen to serve the Barnett Family.
