William Franklin Disponett

Nicholasville: William F. Disponett, 84, died Thurs. Nov. 19, at St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Woodford County he was born July 12, 1926, to the late Raymond and Hettie S. Disponett. He was the widower of Ada Mae Disponett who died in 2006, a retired farmer and mechanic, and veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his children Rosemary Neal husband Al, Lancaster, Wanda Rainwater husband James, Wilmore, Frank Disponett Lawrenceburg, and Perry Disponett, wife Mera, sisters Louise Corman, Nellie Stratton, Roberta Baker husband Wayne, and Barbara Hippe husband Raymond, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson Robert Neal and a brother Pete Disponett.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Fitch officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. His grandsons and great grandsons will honor him as pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 5 PM at the funeral home.
