Nicholasville: William King, Jr. 73, of Pin Oak Dr. died Sunday, July 20, at V A Hospital on Cooper Drive. A native of Powell County, Kentucky he was born May 15, 1935, to the late Willie Estill and Nancy Watkins King. He was a Bishop of the Church of The Resurrection in Jesus Name and was a life long farmer. Survivors include his wife and constant companion of 44 years Dora Barnett King, children Jerry Wayne King, Carol Columbia, Nancy Johnson, William King, Cheryl Bussel, Bonnie King Preston, Ruth Adams, Betty Sparks, Billy King, Michael King and Lisa Andrews , 4 sisters Phylliss Dibble, Lois Wausinger, Julie Ewen and Dorothy Conkright, 28 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son James King and 2 brothers Matt and James King.

Services 1:00 PM Wed. July 23rd, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Fowler and Sister Peggy Waggoner officiating, burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Adams, Eddie Ellis, Johathan Grimes, Kyle Grimes, Dave Andrews, Perry Johnson, Tony Sparks, and Alex King. Honorary bearers will be Billy King, William King, Mike King, Jerry Peel, Johnny Barnett, Bill Davis, and Darrell Melton. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM on Wed.
