Willie Barnett, 70, husband of Wanda for 42 years and father to Johnny, Ronnie, and Billy. wife Kristie, left his earthly home on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Baptist Health Care. He was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Estill County to the late Willie and Daisy Sams Barnett. Junior was one of 6 children and is survived by sisters Lucille Fee and Dorothy Peel, husband Jerry, as well as a brother Clarence, wife Annie. He has 2 grandchildren Clarence William Tyler Barnett and Annie Desirea Miller along with a host of nieces and nephews. Junior was preceded in death by a sister Dora King, brother Raymond Barnett and niece Dorothy McKinney. His Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, Nov. 9, at 12:00 Noon at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Elkins Cemetery in Clay City at Happy Top with a Graveside Service at 3:00 PM. His family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Service.
