Winifred E. Ewing Nelson, 92, of Nicholasville, formerly of Lexington, died Friday, May 17, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center.
Winnie was a native of New Hampshire, Ohio born July 8, 1920, to the late Maynard and Carrie Macbeth Ewing. She was preceded in death by a brother Edward and sisters Nevelyn and Guendolyn.
She had spent the last seven years as a resident of Council Oaks in Nicholasville. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Richard E. Nelson, wife Ellen, Tim Nelson, wife Shelia, Kathy McCracken, husband Randy, Mark Nelson, and Chris Nelson, wife Karen 8 grandchildren Tyler, Erin, Kelly, An, Jason, Justin, and Jonathon Nelson and Adam McCracken, and a great grandson Colton McCracken.
She will be honored with a graveside service at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Lakeview, Ohio, on Monday, May 20th at 1:00 PM .
