Yurii Khlus

Yurii Khlus, 54, died peacefully at his home on Jan. 13, 2025, while under the care of Bluegrass Care Navigators and his loving family.  He is a native of Ukraine, born Oct 25,1970 to the late Ananiy and Madiya Khlus. While living in Ukraine, he was a licensed Veterinarian.  Yurii is survived by his loving wife Halyna and daughters Olga Karnak Khova, Masha Chubauk, Serihii Chubauk,and Illia Chubauk, and his grandchildren Adenir, Sofia, and Samuel. Yurii loved fishing and hunting for mushrooms, and of course animals.  His family will greet friends at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home on Wednesday Jan. 15 beginning at 12:00 noon until time of burial in Maple Grove Cemetery at 1:00. Due to the inclement weather, there will be a short Service before going to the grave at Maple Grove. "His life was a blessing and his memory a treasure.”  All arrangements are under the direction of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home a and we express our deepest sympathy to Yurii’s family and friends.
